My bestie & I live in different towns which has led her to ask me over-&-over to start a blog, so here goes nothing...

After graduating from Genoa Central High in 2007 I packed up and headed to Fayetteville Arkansas, which I still believe is a little slice of heaven. I lived in a dorm with no AC & had the time of my life. Hump Dump 4th floor fo life. I then joined the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and met the most incredible girls of all time. Yes, I did live in a room with 3 other girls, in a house of 96. I then met my hubs back in November of '08 at a Boombox show that still is marked as one of the most fun nights of my life. He graduated from the Walton School of business in May 2010, got a job back home and I was accepted to RN school back home. I can't forget to mention that we are both conveniently from the same home town, Texarkana... had never met one another or even heard of one another. Holidays are so easy. He proposed to me on August 26th 2010 in the most adorable way ever & I mean ever. I then started nursing school and a month later... ta da. PREGGO! The most special surprise of our life. December 15th: it's a BOY! May 8th: Due Date, which was also Mother's Day. How sweet, right? Well, needless to say he didn't arrive on Mother's Day but oh well. Pregnancy was such a breeze which I firmly believe was God's way of taking care of me & allowing me to make it through the first semester of RN school so I can fulfill His will for my life. May 13th, 2011 at 12:15 am Mark Austin Coleman Jr. was brought into the world. Our lives are forever changed since that precious day, late-night or early morning.. whatever. August 5th 2011 is a sweet, sweet day for this mommy & daddy. Our wedding day on the beach in Destin, FL with our closest friends and family was more than we could have hoped for. My hubs is such an incredible, loving man and wonderful father. Mark Austin is now 5 1/2 months old, weighing a whopping 22 lbs & this mommy starts back to school mid-January 2012. bring on the books and baby food.
